its easy to take things for granted. we take most of our lifes for granted (and who is we? well, anyone who can relate, we guess)... we grant the future the certainty that there will be some sort of tomorrow. even in the darkest leaps of us we know. we know that beyond ourselves tomorrow exists. we take for granted the sky will be there when we look up, and that the ground wont cease to exist when we take a step and the shadows of the trees with the fruits that grow amongst them. we take for granted that home will be there uppon inserting key into our house door. we take for granted that no interdimensional portal might suck us in and throw us flying into a new realm of fantasy mystery and chaos. although it may be fun. we take for granted because we need to be blind and inocent and hold close the certainty that when everything else fails.      something.    will.      be.    there.

like the moment when things break apart and you can’t stop crying because an earthquake just hit and killed hundreads in your city, but there is a reason to keep sharing and giving and feeling. a moment suspended in magic, a throbbing mystery. an enunciation of forces beyond description. it is affective in the subtlety of it’s unfolding----- like sand blowing in the wind. like dust levitating towards the light. yes. this. exactly.

           we say our good byes
not knowing if the sea that spans between us will return us to each-other
     give us back ourselves

             as one

and we tremble (yes we tremble)

                                      but it is

                                                        what it is

            it is

                                                                                                     alright

(oh baby, everything is going to be alright)
